Compliance Associate

Nabis is seeking a Compliance Associate to oversee daily operations related to state license activities across California, Nevada, and New York. This role is integral to maintaining compliance with state regulations and ensuring seamless execution of METRC seed-to-sale processes. The Compliance Associate will work closely with warehouse and customer experience teams to uphold Nabis' commitment to regulatory excellence.

Key responsibilities include managing METRC operations such as package creation, manifest generation, and inventory reconciliation. The Compliance Associate will address METRC errors promptly, maintain accurate records, and ensure all transactions comply with state-mandated timeframes. Additionally, the role involves applying state distributor regulations to operational decisions, maintaining compliance calendars, and acting as the primary contact for state regulator communications at the facility level.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of METRC and state cannabis regulations, with experience in compliance operations within the cannabis industry. Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments are essential. Proficiency in managing compliance documentation and a proactive approach to regulatory changes are also required.
