As a Compliance Auditor at Compass, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all real estate transactions adhere to the standards and regulations set forth by the California Department of Real Estate, Compass’ Broker of Record, MLS, real estate trade associations, and internal risk management guidelines. This position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence twice per month, and necessitates an active California real estate license.

Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine reviews of open sales, lease, and referral transactions to ensure regular compliance checks. You will collaborate closely with the Broker of Record and Transaction Coordinators to enhance operational efficiencies. Additionally, you will perform comprehensive reviews of various transaction files, including commercial, farm and ranch, and residential listings, leases, and sales, both prior to and after scheduled closings. Ensuring that all real estate contracts, disclosures, and advisories are processed accurately and promptly will be a key aspect of your role.

The ideal candidate will possess over five years of real estate experience and hold an active California real estate license. A deep understanding of real estate transaction coordination, including MLS systems, contracts, and proficiency with Google Suite, is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills, impeccable attention to detail, and a customer service-oriented personality are also critical for success in this role.

Compass offers a competitive compensation package, with an expected base pay ranging from $33.70 to $36.53 per hour. Additional compensation elements, such as bonuses, commissions, or equity grants, may be available, along with a comprehensive benefits program.
