Compliance Auditor
The Compliance Auditor role at Compass involves ensuring that real estate transaction files adhere to the standards and regulations set by the California Department of Real Estate, Compass’ Broker of Record, MLS, real estate trade associations, and internal risk management guidelines. This position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence twice per month.
Key responsibilities include conducting routine reviews of open sales, lease, and referral transactions to ensure regular file assessments, collaborating with the Broker of Record and Transaction Coordinators to enhance efficiencies, performing comprehensive random reviews of various transaction files before and after scheduled closings, and ensuring that real estate contracts, disclosures, and advisories are processed accurately and promptly.
Candidates must possess an active California real estate license and have over five years of real estate experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills, in-depth knowledge of real estate transaction coordination—including MLS, contracts, and Google Suite—and a customer service-oriented personality are essential. Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are also required.
The expected base pay for this position ranges from $33.70 to $36.53 per hour, with final offers depending on job-related factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity. Additional compensation elements, such as bonuses, commissions, or equity grants, may be available, along with a full benefits program.
