Consumer Sales and Lead Generation Specialist
Peloton is seeking a dynamic Consumer Sales and Lead Generation Specialist to join our Australian team. This role combines high-energy brand activation with precision sales execution, focusing on expanding Peloton's presence in Australia. The specialist will actively engage in the field, enhancing brand visibility at local events and retail partner locations, while managing the full sales cycle from initial qualification to closing deals.
Key responsibilities include owning the entire sales journey through proactive outbound prospecting via calls, emails, and chats, converting inbound inquiries, and closing deals. The role involves acting as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and delivering expert product education to convert prospects into lifelong members. Additionally, the specialist will maintain accurate records in Salesforce to ensure a transparent, high-performing pipeline and accurate forecasting.
The ideal candidate will have over three years of success in high-touch sales or Sales Development Representative roles, with a proven track record in a B2C or direct-to-consumer environment. A flexible attitude is essential, with readiness to travel and work variable schedules, including weekends and evenings, to meet members where they are. Exceptional rapport-building skills and the ability to articulate the Peloton value proposition to diverse audiences are crucial. Proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce and Microsoft Office, along with strong organizational skills to balance multiple high-impact tasks, is required. The candidate should also be an innovative thinker who identifies unique opportunities to elevate brand awareness and solve customer challenges.
