Senior Software Engineer, E-Commerce
Peloton is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our E-Commerce team, focusing on scaling our $1+ billion e-commerce platform. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, marketing, and international teams, to develop innovative features that enhance our online presence and customer experience.
Key responsibilities include developing modern front-end web technologies and architectures to build high-performing, user-friendly web experiences. The role also involves API development using languages such as Kotlin and Python, writing maintainable and scalable code, conducting peer code reviews, and driving architectural discussions to promote continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of software development experience, proficiency in Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages, and at least 3 years of experience in system architecture and design. Familiarity with data stores like PostgreSQL, deployment tools such as Kubernetes and Docker, and a strong understanding of Agile, Lean, DevOps, and SRE principles are essential. A passion for technology and a commitment to quality are also important.
