Chime is seeking a Content Designer to join its Product Design team, focusing on enhancing consumer-facing product experiences for millions of members. This role involves ownership of content within the Spending, Savings & Investing pillar, collaborating with cross-functional teams to simplify complex financial concepts and improve the member experience.

Key responsibilities include driving clarity and quality across user experiences in Chime's mobile apps and digital platforms, partnering with teams from concept to launch, writing clear and inclusive content for product flows and microcopy, making informed content decisions regarding naming and information hierarchy, evolving Chime's product voice and tone, using research and data to validate content decisions, and contributing to guidelines and systems that ensure consistency and quality.

Candidates should have experience designing content for consumer-facing digital products, a strong understanding of UX principles and mobile-first best practices, a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership and user-centered writing, comfort leading content decisions in ambiguous spaces, the ability to think holistically about user journeys, experience contributing to content systems or guidelines, and strong communication skills for explaining content decisions to diverse partners.

The base salary for this role ranges from $170,000 to $235,000, with eligibility for bonuses, competitive equity packages, and benefits. Actual salary may vary based on location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
