The Content Marketing Manager at LaunchDarkly will be responsible for developing and scaling the company's content engine to drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline among technical audiences. This role involves planning, creating, and optimizing content throughout the buyer journey to enhance brand preference, facilitate purchasing decisions, and foster customer retention and advocacy.

Key responsibilities include owning the end-to-end content strategy across various formats such as research reports, long-form guides, blog posts, videos, webinars, and interactive content, ensuring narrative consistency and quality. The manager will collaborate closely with teams like Documentation, Developer Relations, Product Marketing, Social, and Video to deliver a cohesive, cross-channel content roadmap. Additionally, the role involves writing and developing content tailored to developers, engineering managers, and decision-makers, partnering with subject matter experts to extract insights, and creating comprehensive content plans that span problem discovery, thought leadership, product use cases, and customer stories. Leveraging AI tools to mine insights from customer interactions and product usage data to inform content strategy and scale production is also a key aspect of the role.

Candidates should have over 8 years of experience in B2B content marketing, particularly in creating content for technical or developer audiences. Exceptional writing and editing skills are essential, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and engaging narratives. Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Product Marketing, Developer Relations, Documentation, and Creative/Video is required. The role also demands demonstrated ability to use AI tools thoughtfully for research and content production, experience in building full-funnel content strategies, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in B2B SaaS or high-growth technology environments is strongly preferred.

The position offers a competitive salary, with target pay ranges based on geographic zones:

- Zone 1 (San Francisco/Bay Area, NYC Metropolitan Area, Boston, Seattle): $121,000 - $167,000

- Zone 2 (Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago): $109,000 - $150,000

- Zone 3 (All other US locations): $103,000 - $142,000
