The role is integral to supporting the company’s ambitious expansion goals by building and managing a robust pipeline of B2B prospects. In this position, the Account Executive will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within the EMEA territory. A typical day involves conducting discovery calls, demonstrating the product, navigating complex sales cycles, and aligning LaunchDarkly’s value proposition with client needs. The role works closely with Sales Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, and Customer Success teams to deliver value at every stage of the customer journey.
Candidates are expected to have a strong track record of quota attainment within SaaS or enterprise software sales, with experience selling into mid-market or large corporate accounts. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential. Familiarity with sales tools such as CRMs, deal management software, and virtual meeting platforms is crucial, as is the ability to excel in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. Prior experience selling in or to the EMEA region is highly preferred.
