Corporate Development Manager
Prove is seeking a Corporate Development Manager to evaluate and execute mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and identify strategic partners. This role involves managing investment ventures and alliances to support the company's mission and growth objectives. The position offers high visibility and requires frequent collaboration with executive leadership and potentially the board of directors. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong work ethic, capable of navigating a fast-paced environment while managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Key responsibilities include partnering with senior leaders to develop strategies and solutions for complex strategic questions, engaging with business executives, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams. The role involves evaluating potential acquisitions, investments, strategic partnerships, and other external opportunities from both qualitative and quantitative perspectives. The Corporate Development Manager will manage the entire deal lifecycle, including due diligence, integration planning, documentation, and implementation, as well as post-close integration and execution. Additionally, the role entails attending relevant conferences and events to build relationships with potential acquisition targets and partners.
The position requires a deep understanding of the industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape. Candidates should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and partners. Analytical skills are essential for evaluating market opportunities, assessing risks, and developing effective business strategies. Expertise in proposal writing, presentation development, and contract negotiation is also necessary. Proficiency in CRM tools and data analysis to track sales performance and identify trends is expected. Experience in high-growth or pre-IPO technology companies is preferred, along with a willingness to travel to meet potential targets.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $150,000 to $170,000, plus a company bonus. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
