The Cost Accountant at Agility Robotics will be responsible for managing fixed asset accounting, inventory cost control, cycle count oversight, and weekly operational cost reporting within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate capitalization, depreciation, inventory valuation, and variance analysis to support operational leadership and executive reporting.

Key responsibilities include maintaining the fixed asset subledger, capitalizing projects and expenses per GAAP and company policy, and supporting monthly reporting and audits. The role also involves maintaining and reviewing standard costs, reconciling subledger to ledger monthly, calculating excess and obsolete reserves, and overseeing physical inventory. Additionally, the Cost Accountant will manage cycle count accuracy metrics using ABC methodology, perform monthly audits, and report results to management. Analyzing shipping and logistics costs to identify optimization opportunities and participating in month-end and year-end closing processes are also essential duties.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an associate degree with relevant manufacturing cost accounting experience will be considered. A minimum of 3–5 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing is required. Experience in high-growth or operationally complex environments is preferred. Strong analytical and system skills, including proficiency with Google Sheets, QuickBooks, NetSuite, and integrated ERP systems, are essential. Authorization to work in the USA is mandatory.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $110,000 USD.
