Credit Analyst/Associate, Private Debt
The Credit Analyst/Associate position at Audax Group focuses on underwriting first lien senior secured loans and monitoring existing investments within the Audax Senior Debt portfolios. In this role, the Credit Analyst will evaluate new private credit investments by conducting thorough fundamental analyses to formulate clear credit views and recommendations. Responsibilities include managing and analyzing the financial performance of companies under management, presenting at regular portfolio review and watchlist meetings, analyzing incremental investment opportunities in both primary and secondary markets, evaluating amendment requests, following industry trends, and maintaining current views of credits under management. The analyst will also become proficient with legal documentation over time.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and have 2-6 years of experience in investment banking, direct lending, structured credit, or a similar field. Experience in managing a portfolio of senior debt investments is required. The role demands the ability to manage and generate detailed reports and presentations tracking the activity of a sizable private debt portfolio, develop and utilize complex financial models, and assess the credit quality of potential investments.
The base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000, with potential eligibility for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
