Customer Service Representative Bilingual Spanish Preferred
As a Customer Service Representative at PLS, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, embodying the face of our company. PLS is a leading retail provider of financial services, operating over 200 financial service centers across 12 states. Our mission is to offer convenient and transparent financial products to help customers manage their day-to-day financial needs.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include delivering outstanding customer service to ensure repeat business, educating customers on our products and services, and ensuring all transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations. You will also be responsible for maintaining a balanced cash drawer, accurately handling cash transactions, and using our point-of-sale system to process transactions. Additionally, you will assist in resolving customer complaints or refer them to the Store Manager for resolution and help maintain a clean and organized store environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurants. Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to engage comfortably with customers are essential. You should be able to offer products and services based on customer needs, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and possess the ability to multitask. A professional appearance and demeanor, honesty, integrity, and flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays are required. Fluency in English is mandatory, and being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
