Customer Service Representative Bilingual Vietnamese Preferred
PLS is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to serve as the primary point of contact for our customers. As the face of PLS, the CSR is responsible for delivering superior customer service and educating customers on our products and services. This role is crucial in maintaining company quality standards and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service to ensure repeat business, educating customers on our products and services, and ensuring all transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations. The CSR will also maintain a balanced cash drawer, accurately complete all transactions, and use our point-of-sale system to access information and process transactions. Additionally, the role involves resolving customer complaints or referring them to the Store Manager for resolution and helping to maintain a neat and clean store environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant. They should be comfortable engaging with customers, possess strong verbal communication skills, and have the ability to offer products and services based on customer needs. Exceptional attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a professional appearance and demeanor are essential. Candidates must be honest, have integrity, and be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. English fluency is required, and bilingual proficiency in English and Vietnamese is preferred.
Physical requirements for this position include the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance, and work in restrictive spaces while maintaining concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels.
