Customer Service Representative
PLS is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team at our Grand Prairie, TX location. As a leading retail provider of financial services, PLS operates over 200 financial service centers across 12 states, offering convenient products to help customers manage their day-to-day financial needs. The CSR serves as the primary point of contact for our customers, embodying the face of PLS and ensuring superior customer service.
In this role, the CSR will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to encourage repeat business, educating customers on our products and services, and ensuring all transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Additional duties include maintaining a balanced cash drawer, accurately processing transactions, utilizing our point-of-sale system, resolving customer complaints or referring them to the Store Manager, and helping to maintain a clean store environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant settings. Strong verbal communication skills, the ability to engage with customers confidently, and a professional appearance and demeanor are essential. Candidates must be honest, possess integrity, and be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. English fluency is required, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
