Customer Service Representative
PLS is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team at 168 Nagle Ave., New York, NY 10040. As a leading retail provider of financial services, PLS operates over 200 financial service centers across 12 states, offering convenient products to help customers manage their day-to-day financial needs. The CSR serves as the primary point of contact, delivering superior customer service and educating customers on our products and services.
Key responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service to ensure repeat business, educating customers on our products and services, ensuring all transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations, following company policies and procedures, maintaining a balanced cash drawer, completing all transactions accurately, using our point-of-sale system to process transactions, resolving customer complaints or referring them to the Store Manager, maintaining a neat and clean store environment, and performing other duties as instructed by management.
The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant. They should be comfortable engaging with customers, possess strong verbal communication skills, and have the ability to offer products and services based on customer needs. Exceptional attention to detail, the ability to multitask, a professional appearance and demeanor, honesty, integrity, and flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays are essential. English fluency is required, and English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
