Customer Service Representative
As a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at PLS, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, embodying the face of the company. PLS is a leading retail provider of financial services, operating over 200 financial service centers across 12 states. Our mission is to offer consumers convenient financial products and services to assist in managing their daily financial needs.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include delivering outstanding customer service to ensure repeat business, educating customers on our products and services, and ensuring all transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations. You will also be responsible for maintaining a balanced cash drawer, accurately processing transactions, and resolving customer complaints or referring them to the Store Manager for resolution. Additionally, you will help maintain a clean and welcoming store environment for both customers and team members.
The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant settings. Strong verbal communication skills, the ability to engage comfortably with customers, and a professional appearance and demeanor are essential. Candidates must be honest, possess integrity, and be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. English fluency is required, and being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
