Customer Service Representative
As a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at PLS, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, embodying the company's commitment to exceptional service. PLS, a leading retail provider of financial services, operates over 200 financial service centers across 12 states, offering convenient and transparent financial products to help customers manage their daily financial needs.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include delivering outstanding customer service to ensure repeat business, educating customers on our products and services, and ensuring all transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations. You will also be responsible for maintaining a balanced cash drawer, accurately processing transactions, resolving customer complaints, and helping to maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant settings. Strong verbal communication skills, the ability to engage comfortably with customers, and a professional appearance and demeanor are essential. Candidates must be honest, possess integrity, and be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. English fluency is required, and bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are a plus.
