Customer Service Representative
PLS is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team at 1958 W. Cermak Rd., Chicago, IL 60608. As the primary point of contact for our customers, you will play a crucial role in delivering superior service and educating clients about our financial products and services. This position is integral to maintaining our commitment to convenience, transparency, and affordability in financial services.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to ensure repeat business, educating customers on our products and services, and ensuring all transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Additional duties include maintaining a balanced cash drawer, accurately processing transactions, resolving customer complaints or referring them to the Store Manager, and helping to maintain a clean store environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant. Strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential. A professional appearance and demeanor, honesty, integrity, and flexibility to work various hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, are required. English fluency is mandatory, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
