Customer Service Representative
PLS is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering superior customer service and educating customers on our products and services. PLS is a leading retail provider of financial services, operating over 200 financial service centers across 12 states.
As a Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include providing outstanding customer service to ensure repeat business, educating customers on our products and services, ensuring all transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations, following company policies and procedures, maintaining a balanced cash drawer, completing all transactions accurately, using our point-of-sale system to process transactions, resolving customer complaints or referring them to the Store Manager, maintaining a neat and clean store environment, and performing other duties as instructed by management.
The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant. You should be comfortable engaging with customers, possess strong verbal communication skills, and have the ability to offer products and services based on customer needs. Exceptional attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, a professional appearance and demeanor, honesty, and integrity are essential. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. English fluency is mandatory, and being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
