The Customer Success Manager (CSM) at GoGuardian is responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of active customer accounts, ensuring clients derive maximum value from the company's solutions. Reporting to the Manager of Customer Success, the CSM collaborates closely with New Business Managers to develop strategic growth plans, oversee the onboarding process for new customers, and proactively monitor customer health to mitigate churn risks. The primary goal is to act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers throughout their journey to achieve their objectives using GoGuardian's platform.

Key responsibilities include driving renewals and account retention by nurturing customer relationships and securing contract renewals before expiration. The CSM identifies and executes expansion opportunities through upselling and cross-selling additional products to meet evolving customer needs. They lead customers through implementation and onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition and supporting product adoption with ongoing guidance and best practices. Monitoring customer usage and engagement is crucial, allowing the CSM to forecast risks and opportunities, and take proactive steps to maintain and improve customer health.

The ideal candidate possesses 2–4 years of experience in customer success, account management, business development, or a client-facing sales role. They should demonstrate high activity levels, strong follow-up skills, and a results-driven mindset. A deep understanding of GoGuardian’s full product suite and the ability to align solutions with district needs are essential. Proficiency in Salesforce, including managing forecasts and building reports to inform account strategy, is required. The candidate should be skilled in navigating customer objections, negotiating toward value-based outcomes, and consistently delivering against annual recurring revenue (ARR) targets. The ability to work cross-functionally with channel and sales teams and maintain detailed sales data hygiene in Salesforce and other sales tools is also important.

GoGuardian offers competitive compensation, including a base salary with variable pay, resulting in total targeted earnings ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually.
