Data Migration Consultant
As a Data Migration Consultant at Ridgeline, you will play a pivotal role in implementing our enterprise cloud platform for investment management clients. Collaborating closely with internal teams and customers, you will focus on delivering high-quality data migration solutions, emphasizing investment, performance, and transactional data. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to transforming how investment management firms operate and scale.
Your primary responsibilities will include supporting data conversion projects from inception to completion, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility. You will perform data mapping, transformation, and cleansing activities aligned with project specifications, and validate and troubleshoot variances between source data and system-generated outputs. Additionally, you will partner with project managers and functional consultants to proactively identify dependencies and drive alignment across workstreams.
The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in data conversion or migration projects within the investment management industry. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel, are essential. Knowledge of financial instruments, asset management workflows, and reconciliation/reporting processes is required. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences are also important.
