Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer at AirTrunk's Singapore headquarters, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to redefining hyperscale data centers across the Asia Pacific region. Reporting to the Senior Design Manager, you will collaborate with various teams and leadership to drive innovation and efficiency in design, supporting the company's rapid expansion and ambitious sustainability goals.

In this role, you will review technical documents, design submissions, specifications, and Basis of Design write-ups to ensure compliance with local codes, industry standards, and client requirements. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver designs that meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives, and address technical requests effectively.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or a similar engineering discipline, with 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a design consultancy or data center colocation provider. Strong expertise in data center systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, cooling systems, fire suppression, and structured cabling, is essential. Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, or ETAP, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, is also required.
