DFT Engineer
Graphcore is seeking an experienced Design for Testability (DFT) Engineer to join its Silicon team, focusing on next-generation AI designs for data center applications. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI compute by integrating DFT requirements into the overall design process.
In this role, the DFT Engineer will define and implement DFT architecture and features, develop efficient DFT flows compatible with silicon design processes, and collaborate closely with design, verification, physical design, and product engineering teams. Responsibilities also include working with third-party IPs to integrate designs into the DFT infrastructure, generating structural test vectors, analyzing and improving test coverage, and supporting silicon bring-up to enhance yield learning and improvement.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in DFT methodologies, including a thorough understanding of components such as JTAG (IEEE 1149.x), IJTAG (IEEE P1687), Core Test (IEEE P1500), and Streaming Scan Network (SSN). Experience in developing DFT specifications, implementing MBIST and BISR, and verifying DFT features using pre-silicon simulations is essential. Proficiency in Verilog RTL coding, familiarity with SystemVerilog, and strong scripting skills in languages like Python, TCL, Perl, or Shell are also required.
