Technical Product Owner

Graphcore is seeking a Technical Product Owner to join its software team in Bristol, UK. This role focuses on translating product outcomes into clear, prioritized, and deliverable component-level work, bridging the gap between product intent, technical delivery, and cross-team collaboration. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and developers to navigate dependencies and bring clarity to complex systems.

Key responsibilities include owning and shaping the component backlog by creating and maintaining team roadmaps, translating feature-level intent into actionable component-level work, and maintaining a clear, prioritized backlog of epics and stories. The role also involves supporting delivery across sprints and planning increments, coordinating across teams to manage dependencies, and championing quality, collaboration, and trust within the team.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Product Owner or in a similar role within an agile environment, with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong backlog management and refinement skills, a strategic mindset, and excellent facilitation abilities are essential. Confidence in working with technical teams and complex systems, as well as experience coordinating work across multiple teams or components, is also required.
