Technical Lead - System Validation Architect

Graphcore is seeking a Technical Lead – System Validation Architect to spearhead the development and execution of Linux-based validation frameworks for Arm-based data center System on Chips (SoCs). This pivotal role involves defining validation strategies, test coverage, and methodologies across CPU, memory, interconnect, and high-speed I/O subsystems, ensuring the delivery of robust and scalable AI compute platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for translating hardware specifications into structured, parameterized test plans, guiding the selection of appropriate tools, and establishing standards for test case definitions, result validation, and reporting. Collaboration with hardware, firmware, and system teams is essential to debug issues and enhance system performance.

Applicants should possess a strong knowledge of Arm SoC architecture and Linux systems, with at least 8 years of experience in system validation, performance engineering, or low-level systems development. A deep understanding of CPU architecture, cache coherency, memory systems (DDR, HBM, NUMA), and high-speed I/O technologies such as PCIe is required. Proficiency in Python programming for process automation and data analysis is also essential.
