Director, Data & AI

The Director of Data & AI at Cohere Health will lead analytics, data science, and machine learning teams to develop data-driven solutions that enhance healthcare delivery. This role involves close collaboration with product, design, and software engineering teams to drive the research and development of data-centric solutions. As a key member of the leadership team, the Director will work with global business and AI partners to co-create solutions and execute critical initiatives seamlessly.

Key responsibilities include recruiting and building high-caliber machine learning, data science, and business intelligence teams. The Director will lead and manage engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture, and developing strategic plans aligned with the company's goals. They will oversee the design, development, and deployment of analytic and AI solutions, ensuring quality and scalability, and fostering a data-driven decision-making culture.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of management experience in hiring and developing data-centric development teams, and more than 12 years of experience in data science and machine learning. An advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or Machine Learning is required. Proven success in managing geographically distributed teams and translating complex business problems into impactful data analytics products is essential. Experience with US managed care design and operations is also necessary.
