Sr. Proposal & Strategic Response Manager
The Sr. Proposal & Strategic Response Manager at Cohere Health leads the enterprise proposal function and supports high-impact initiatives across Sales and Revenue Operations. This role manages the end-to-end RFP and proposal process for complex enterprise opportunities and serves as a cross-functional project manager for revenue-critical projects such as information security assessments, due diligence coordination, and vendor registrations.
Key responsibilities include developing compelling proposal narratives tailored to payer audiences, managing and improving the proposal content library, coordinating information security and technical due diligence processes, and serving as a cross-functional project lead for complex enterprise deals. The role also involves driving alignment and accountability across teams by managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and proactively identifying and escalating risks or bottlenecks.
Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in enterprise-level proposal management, RFP response, or bid management, preferably within healthcare, health tech, or SaaS environments. Strong writing, editing, and executive storytelling skills are essential, along with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to coordinate across cross-functional stakeholders. Experience managing security questionnaires and enterprise due diligence processes, familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or HITRUST, and strong organizational and project management skills are also required.
The position offers a fully remote opportunity with about 10% travel. Compensation includes a salary range of $125,000 to $140,000 annually, along with medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a 401K retirement plan with company match, flexible spending and health savings accounts, flex time off plus company holidays, up to 14 weeks of paid parental leave, and pet insurance.
