Director, Deal Enablement
Axon is seeking a Director of Deal Enablement to lead the operations of deal structuring, pricing, and execution for major accounts. This role is pivotal in ensuring that deals are efficiently managed to support customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance and profitability. The Director will collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success teams to streamline the Quote-to-Cash process, contributing to Axon's mission to protect life through innovative technology solutions.
Key responsibilities include partnering with cross-functional teams to structure deals that align customer needs with Axon's financial and compliance standards. The Director will serve as the central point of contact for deal approvals, exceptions, and non-standard terms, supporting sales teams from pricing strategy to contract execution. Additionally, the role involves driving continuous improvement of deal enablement and quoting processes, identifying automation opportunities, and supporting the rollout of new pricing models and products.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, along with 10-15 years of experience in Deal Desk, Commercial Operations, or Revenue Operations, preferably in SaaS or hybrid SaaS/hardware environments. A strong understanding of deal structuring, pricing, and revenue recognition principles is essential, as is hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, Billing, or equivalent platforms. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, coupled with an analytical and detail-oriented mindset, are crucial for success in this role.
