Director, Deal Enablement
The Director of Deal Enablement at Axon plays a pivotal role in enhancing the company's commercial excellence by ensuring that deals are structured, priced, and executed efficiently. This position involves close collaboration with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success teams to streamline the Quote-to-Cash process, particularly for major account customers. The role is integral to Axon's mission to protect life by delivering innovative technology solutions to public safety agencies.
Key responsibilities include partnering with cross-functional teams to structure deals that align customer needs with Axon's financial and compliance standards. The Director serves as the central point of contact for deal approvals, exceptions, and non-standard terms, supporting Sales teams throughout the deal process—from pricing strategy to contract execution. Additionally, the role involves evolving deal governance and commercial playbooks, supporting the quoting process to ensure accuracy and timeliness, and collaborating with IT teams to enhance quoting approval workflows and automation.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with 10-15 years of experience in Deal Desk, Commercial Operations, or Revenue Operations, preferably in SaaS, subscription, or hybrid SaaS/hardware environments. Strong team leadership skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of deal structuring, pricing, and revenue recognition principles. Proficiency with Salesforce CPQ, Billing, Contract Lifecycle Management tools, or equivalent platforms is required, as well as exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
