Director, Enterprise Business Operations
The Director of Enterprise Business Operations at Axon is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving cross-functional execution, improving organizational efficiency, and enabling high-impact decision-making. This role partners closely with senior leadership across Product, Engineering, Finance, Go-To-Market, and Operations to define priorities, streamline processes, measure performance, and accelerate the business toward its long-term objectives. The ideal candidate is analytical, resourceful, highly organized, and comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels.
Key responsibilities include leading annual and quarterly strategic planning, translating high-level strategy into operational roadmaps, and driving cross-functional alignment to ensure teams progress against key initiatives. The role also involves identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable processes, developing and optimizing operating rhythms, and building dashboards to measure performance and support data-driven decision-making. Additionally, the Director will conduct deep-dive analyses on operational performance, partner with Finance for forecasting and resource allocation, and lead mission-critical cross-company initiatives from concept through delivery.
Required qualifications include 12+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategy, Management Consulting, Program Management, or similar fields, with demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives in high-growth or fast-paced environments. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and storytelling abilities, and the proven ability to operate autonomously while managing multiple workstreams are essential. Preferred qualifications encompass experience in SaaS, hardware/software, technology, or product-driven organizations, familiarity with operational frameworks such as OKRs, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma, and a strong business acumen with the ability to understand both market dynamics and internal operations.
