Axon is seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to lead a high-impact team responsible for the company's annual budget process, administration of the corporate planning system, and serving as the finance business partner to the SG&A functions. This role is pivotal in driving financial strategy and ensuring alignment with Axon's mission to protect life through innovative devices and cloud software solutions.

The Director of FP&A will build and develop a world-class FP&A team, own the annual budget process, and manage key inputs driving the corporate forecast model. Responsibilities include partnering with leaders across the organization to refine strategic outlooks, supporting funding requests, standardizing processes and controls, leveraging technology to enhance efficiencies, and providing real-time information to ensure EBITDA goals are met. Additionally, the role involves designing and coordinating the monthly budget versus actual process, overseeing Procure-to-Pay and Purchase Order Request processes, and developing comprehensive reporting packages and dashboards.

Candidates should possess an advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting, with a minimum of 10 years of FP&A experience encompassing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business analytics in dynamic environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a hands-on leadership approach, the ability to manage multiple competing interests, a strong emphasis on employee development, and a proven track record of driving cost controls and influencing EBITDA improvement. Experience with Microsoft D365, Adaptive Planning, and Workday is preferred, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.
