Director, FP&A
As the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) at Axon, you will lead a high-impact team responsible for managing the company's annual budget process, administering the corporate planning system, and serving as the finance business partner to our SG&A functions. This role is pivotal in driving financial strategy and ensuring alignment with Axon's mission to protect life through innovative technology solutions.
Key responsibilities include building and developing a world-class FP&A team, owning the annual budget process, and driving the corporate forecast model. You will partner with leaders across the organization to refine strategic outlooks, support funding requests, and evaluate standardization of processes, systems, communication, and controls across functions. Additionally, you will leverage technology to drive efficiencies across the finance and accounting functions, provide real-time information to business partners to ensure delivery of EBITDA goals, and oversee the company's Procure-to-Pay and Purchase Order Request processes.
The ideal candidate will possess an advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting, with a minimum of 10 years of FP&A experience, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business analytics in a dynamic environment. A hands-on leadership approach, experience building and managing a team, and proficiency with Microsoft D365, Adaptive Planning, and Workday are essential. Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills, along with a strong planning and organization ability, are also required.
