Director, FP&A
Axon is seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to lead a high-impact team responsible for the company's annual budget process, corporate planning system administration, and serving as the finance business partner to SG&A functions. This role is integral to Axon's mission to Protect Life, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values agility, initiative, and creative thinking.
The Director of FP&A will build and develop a world-class FP&A team, own the annual budget process, and drive the corporate forecast model. Key responsibilities include partnering with leaders across the organization to refine strategic outlooks, supporting funding requests, standardizing processes and controls, leveraging technology to enhance efficiencies, and providing real-time information to ensure EBITDA goals are met. Additionally, the role involves designing and coordinating the monthly budget versus actual process, overseeing Procure-to-Pay and Purchase Order Request processes, and developing reporting packages and dashboards.
Candidates should possess an advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting, with a minimum of 10 years of FP&A experience encompassing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business analytics. A hands-on leadership approach, ability to manage multiple competing interests, and a strong emphasis on employee development are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an uncompromising work ethic, a team-first mentality, a sense of urgency, and a passion for forecasting and continuous improvement. Experience with Microsoft D365, Adaptive Planning, and Workday is preferred.
