Director, Global Credit and Collections
Axon is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Global Credit and Collections to lead worldwide credit risk and order-to-cash operations. This leadership role is pivotal in shaping global credit strategy, driving organizational transformation in cash collections, and managing a team across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. The Director will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Tax, Treasury, Controllership, and IT, to enhance processes and technologies within the Global Credit and Collections lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing internal controls and processes to ensure accurate billing tailored to customer requirements. The Director will lead process and technology enhancements, working cross-functionally to identify and recommend optimal solutions. Additionally, the role involves defining and delivering change management programs to stakeholders, ensuring minimal business disruption during process and technology changes. The Director will also oversee escalated collections strategies for high-value or complex customer accounts and champion automation and technology investments to modernize collections workflows globally.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or Economics, with over 12 years of experience in Global Credit and Collections, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong program and change management expertise, experience leading large-scale process transformation and technology implementation projects, and outstanding communication and presentation skills are essential. Proficiency in CRM platform (SF Billing and CPQ preferred) and a strong understanding of ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365, are also required.
