Director, Global Credit and Collections
Axon is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Global Credit and Collections to lead worldwide credit risk and order-to-cash operations. This leadership role is responsible for shaping global credit strategy, driving organizational transformation over cash collections, and leading a team across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader who can operate at both the strategic and operational levels, influencing senior stakeholders while ensuring flawless execution globally.
Key responsibilities include gaining a deep understanding of customer quotes, orders, contracts, revenue, and billing schedules, and the unique variety of solutions Axon offers its customers. The Director will partner with key stakeholders to implement internal controls and processes to drive accurate billing for customers based on their unique requirements. They will help lead the delivery of process and technology enhancements, working cross-functionally to identify and recommend optimal solutions. Additionally, the role involves defining and delivering change management programs to stakeholders, helping ensure minimal business disruption as process and technology changes are implemented, and that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or Economics, with 12+ years of experience in Global Credit and Collections, including at least 5+ years in a leadership role. They should possess strong program and change management expertise, with the ability to lead transformation at scale. Experience leading large-scale process transformation and technology implementation projects, including leveraging automation and AI tools, is essential. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, including at the executive level, are required. Proficiency in CRM platform (SF Billing and CPQ preferred) and a strong understanding of ERP systems and integrations with source systems in the quote-to-cash lifecycle (Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP experience preferred) are also necessary.
