Director of Enterprise Sales
The Director of Enterprise Sales at Axon will lead a team of Account Executives focused on expanding sales within the enterprise market segment, targeting businesses and organizations outside the public safety sector. This role is integral to Axon's mission to Protect Life by introducing innovative solutions to new markets and building repeatable sales motions.
Key responsibilities include hiring and developing a team of experienced Enterprise Account Executives, consistently achieving team revenue goals, and assisting the team throughout strategic sales cycles by understanding customer needs and aligning them with Axon's value propositions. The Director will also partner with Enterprise leadership to define successful and repeatable sales processes, address team challenges, and regularly report on team and individual performance through pipeline management and forecasting.
Candidates should have over seven years of experience managing high-performing software sales teams, preferably within a SaaS company, and at least four years managing enterprise sales teams within major accounts. A successful track record of exceeding quota achievements as both a manager and individual contributor in strategic sales is essential. Experience in recruiting, retaining, and developing teams from the ground up, as well as selling into executive leadership at the C and VP levels, is required. Strong interpersonal skills, technical savvy, problem-solving abilities, and a growth mindset are also important.
