The Director of Enterprise Sales at Axon will lead a team of Account Executives focused on driving sales within the Enterprise market segment, targeting businesses and organizations outside the public safety sector. This role is pivotal in building out the go-to-market strategy for new markets, operating within a fast-paced, startup-like environment to secure early customers and establish repeatable sales motions.

Key responsibilities include hiring and developing a team of experienced Enterprise Account Executives, consistently delivering against team revenue goals, and assisting the team throughout strategic sales cycles by understanding customer needs and mapping them to the value of Axon Enterprise. The Director will also partner with Enterprise leadership to define successful and repeatable sales processes, identify and address challenges facing the team, and regularly report on team and individual results through pipeline management and forecasting.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience managing high-performing software sales teams, preferably within a SaaS company, and at least 4 years managing an Enterprise sales team within major or large accounts. A successful track record of achieving 100%+ of quota as both a manager and individual contributor in strategic sales is essential. Additional qualifications include experience recruiting, retaining, and developing teams from the ground up, high business acumen, previous experience selling to executive leadership, and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface with a wide variety of people and roles.
