Director of Insights
Garner Health is seeking a Director of Insights to join its Marketing team in New York City. This role involves transforming proprietary data into industry-leading insights, positioning Garner as a trusted partner for employers navigating healthcare benefits. The Director will define the company's thought leadership voice and collaborate across teams to turn data into compelling content that builds the brand and drives product demand.
Key responsibilities include owning the end-to-end thought leadership process—from hypothesis generation to data analysis and content production—producing insights about the healthcare system. The Director will partner with leadership to identify topics where Garner can offer unique perspectives, work with the Data team to conduct research, and create white papers, blog posts, and presentations that translate complex data into compelling narratives. Additionally, the role involves delivering analysis and content for demand generation channels such as webinars, the company website, social media, and paid media. Supporting leadership in preparing for speaking opportunities and cultivating a network of external healthcare experts are also key aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate has over eight years of experience in analytical or storytelling roles, such as journalism, management consulting, or data science, with at least two years in healthcare or healthcare benefits. Experience in fast-paced or high-growth environments is a strong plus. The candidate should possess the ability to tell clear stories based on large datasets, conduct third-party research efficiently, write concise and compelling narratives, and generate original ideas that capture attention. Excellent organizational skills, confidence in briefing senior leaders, and a desire to be part of a high-performing, mission-driven team are essential.
The target salary range for this position is $213,000 to $250,000. Individual compensation will depend on various factors, including qualifications and experience.
