Director of Sales, Strategic Accounts (Southeast)
The Director of Sales, Strategic Accounts (Southeast) at Axon will lead a team of Account Executives focusing on the company's most strategic U.S. State & Local Law Enforcement agencies. This role is pivotal in driving the adoption of Axon's comprehensive ecosystem, including TASER devices, sensors, software, AI, and real-time operations solutions, to enhance community protection.
Key responsibilities include overseeing bookings and revenue performance for the T1200 segment, developing and executing strategic account plans, and managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals. The director will also be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring top sales talent, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring the team meets and exceeds sales targets.
Candidates should possess over 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise or strategic sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing frontline sales teams. A proven track record in leading high-performing sales teams within complex, multi-product environments—preferably in SaaS, hardware and software, or public sector technology—is essential. Experience selling to public sector entities, particularly State & Local Law Enforcement or adjacent public safety markets, is highly desirable.
