Director of Talent Acquisition
Axon is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and enhance its global recruiting function, focusing on technical and product hiring across Engineering, Product, Data, Security, and IT teams. This role involves partnering with senior leaders to scale hiring functions, balancing evolving priorities with operational excellence, and defining strategies to attract and engage top-tier talent.
Key responsibilities include owning global R&D Talent Acquisition outcomes, translating business strategy into clear hiring plans, establishing executive operating rhythms for pipeline health and forecast accuracy, and building a high-performing recruiting organization. The role also involves driving applicant tracking system discipline, data hygiene, and automation to ensure scalability, as well as partnering with technical leaders to design job-relevant assessments and structured interview plans.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in talent acquisition or human resources, including talent and performance management. They should possess a bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, proven leadership experience in recruiting, and demonstrated success in leading technical hiring. Strong data fluency, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and experience leading recruiting across multiple regions and cultures are also essential.
