Director, Product Finance

The Director of Product Finance at Axon will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's mission to protect life by providing financial leadership within the product development teams. This position involves close collaboration with engineering and product leads to align financial strategies with product roadmaps, ensuring that financial insights drive product innovation and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include applying business and financial acumen to support decision-makers with data analysis, metrics, and process improvements. The role involves prioritizing product roadmaps based on profit contribution and resource constraints, modeling new product designs, developing business cases for new products and features, and conducting regular cost reduction, headcount, and budget reviews to ensure alignment with company plans and product strategies.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Financial Accounting and have a minimum of 7 years of experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and business analytics within dynamic environments. A proven track record of managing projects cross-functionally, driving process improvements, and the ability to work independently with a focus on quality and deadlines are essential. Experience in the technology, software, or SaaS industries, as well as manufacturing experience, is preferred.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $166,950 to $267,120 USD, along with benefits such as a 401k with employer match, discretionary paid time off, paid parental leave, medical, dental, and vision plans, fitness programs, emotional and mental wellness support, and learning and development programs. The role follows a hybrid schedule, with in-person collaboration required from Tuesday through Friday and the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays.
