Director, Product Management, MyPay
The Director of Product Management for MyPay at Chime will lead the strategic development of the MyPay product, focusing on both workplace and direct-to-consumer experiences. This role is pivotal in enhancing member engagement and unlocking new growth opportunities within Chime's ecosystem. The successful candidate will define the long-term vision for MyPay, navigate through ambiguity, and collaborate across various teams to establish MyPay as a foundational component of Chime's offerings.
Key responsibilities include owning and evolving the product strategy for MyPay across multiple platforms and customer segments. The Director will lead and develop a team of product managers, define and prioritize initiatives that boost member engagement and retention, and identify new growth levers to expand MyPay's adoption. Collaboration with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and Operations teams is essential to deliver impactful results. The role also involves translating company-level priorities into clear product directions and measurable outcomes.
Candidates should have experience leading product teams responsible for complex, consumer-facing products, with a track record of managing products through both initial development and growth phases. Proven ability to build products that drive strong user engagement and retention is crucial. The role requires demonstrated capability in defining and executing long-term product strategies in ambiguous environments and partnering across multiple functions to deliver large-scale initiatives. Strong product judgment grounded in customer needs, data, and business impact is essential. Experience in fintech, payments, or adjacent regulated spaces is preferred.
The base salary for this role ranges from $239,000 to $330,000 annually, depending on location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
