Director, Technical Operations
The Director of Technical Operations at Agility Robotics will lead the Quality, Compliance, Technical Documentation, and Fleet Management teams to ensure product excellence and regulatory adherence. This role is pivotal in bridging engineering, manufacturing, and field operations, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with ISO 9001 standards, overseeing regulatory compliance across all products and operations, and leading internal and external audits to uphold safety and quality protocols. The director will also manage engineering changes across hardware and firmware, develop technical documentation within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, and establish feedback loops to address quality issues in future product iterations.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field, with a master's degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years in technical leadership roles with a proven track record in compliance and quality engineering is required. Deep understanding of QMS frameworks such as ISO, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies is essential, along with exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation.
Agility Robotics offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $185,000 to $288,000, a 401(k) plan with a 6% company match, company stock options, and comprehensive insurance coverage.
