Director, Value Engineering - Financial Services
The Director of Value Engineering - Financial Services at Celonis will lead the Financial Services practice for North America, serving as the strategic leader for the vertical. This role involves partnering with Sales Leadership to define the regional value agenda and orchestrating a multi-disciplinary team to drive end-to-end customer value journeys. The Director will oversee a diverse organization, translating high-level institutional goals into realized P&L impact, and ensuring Celonis is embedded as the default transformation platform across key executive offices.
Key responsibilities include identifying and framing strategic value by partnering with C-Level executives to map strategic goals to specific Celonis capabilities, driving the COO and CTO agenda by bridging technical innovation with operational reality, and developing commercial strategies in collaboration with FSI Sales Leadership. The Director will also oversee program execution by guiding the delivery of complex transformation programs, solving systemic challenges, and serving as the escalation point for the customer portfolio. Additionally, the role involves scaling value and practice innovation by codifying FSI best practices and acting as the senior "Voice of the Customer" to Product & Engineering.
The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a people-management role within Management Consulting, Value Engineering, or Financial Services Operations. They should possess deep domain fluency in Financial Services, with a strong understanding of banking and insurance operations, regulatory environments, and transformation challenges. Proven experience in leading multi-tiered organizations, developing world-class talent, and effectively allocating resources across a portfolio is essential.
