Dispatch Supervisor - Rochester
The Dispatch Supervisor at Nabis plays a pivotal role in overseeing delivery operations, ensuring efficient coordination between Delivery Specialists, Dispatch Associates, and retail partners. This position is integral to maintaining the seamless distribution of cannabis products, aligning with Nabis's mission to empower the world to discover cannabis through choice, access, and innovation.
Key responsibilities include reviewing daily orders to ensure compliance with METRC data, updating invoices and driver documentation as needed, and assisting with the loading and unloading of products prior to dispatch. The supervisor is also tasked with routing delivery stops, preparing necessary paperwork such as Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and invoices, and acting as a communication liaison between drivers, retail shops, and brand partners. Additionally, the role involves responding promptly to any issues that arise during deliveries, rescheduling orders when necessary, and overseeing communications within assigned territories.
Candidates should possess an associate degree or have at least two years of relevant work experience. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stretching, and twisting. Strong communication skills, both over the phone and via email, are essential, along with basic math proficiency. Experience in dispatch or distribution, high attention to detail, technological proficiency, and a sense of urgency are highly desirable.
