As a Documentation Engineer II at Storyblok, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for our headless CMS products, processes, and training materials. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure that information is accurate, accessible, and effectively supports both internal and external users.

Your key responsibilities will include becoming an authority on Storyblok and headless CMS, assisting developers, partner agencies, and customers in understanding and implementing our platform. You will create and maintain developer tutorials, guides, FAQ entries, and API documentation, as well as write sample applications and code samples to showcase Storyblok's capabilities. Additionally, you will help teammates overcome obstacles, resolve blockers, and mentor them in an open, respectful, and empathetic manner.

To be successful in this role, you should have over five years of experience in web development, with proven experience in technical writing and documentation. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required. Experience with content management systems, particularly headless CMS, is a plus. You should have thorough knowledge of consuming RESTful APIs, with GraphQL APIs being an advantage. Proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., Vue, React, Next, Nuxt, Astro, or Svelte) and working knowledge of Git are essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a continuous learning mindset are also important.

Storyblok offers a fully remote work environment with flexible schedules, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Benefits include a monthly remote work stipend, home office equipment package, home office equipment upgrade or co-working space membership, sick leave, parental leave, 25 days of annual leave plus local national holidays, a personal development fund, Virtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP), and opportunities for team-building trips and online events.

Joining Storyblok means becoming part of an international team that values fun and hard work. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a growing company and be part of many "firsts." If you're passionate about documentation and want to make a significant impact in the headless CMS space, this is the role for you.
