Electrical Commissioning Engineer

As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer at xAI, you will lead the commissioning, testing, and handover of critical electrical systems supporting our AI supercomputing facilities. This role is integral to ensuring that power generation, electrical distribution, and related infrastructure are fully operational and compliant with design specifications before transitioning to operations. You will be part of a dedicated infrastructure team committed to engineering excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing comprehensive commissioning plans, conducting functional and performance testing, and coordinating with design engineers, construction teams, and vendors to resolve issues during commissioning phases. You will also document test results, perform quality assurance reviews, and support the startup and initial operations of critical electrical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with proficiency in commissioning tools and processes. Experience with power systems, including medium and low voltage distribution, generators, and UPS systems, is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, are crucial for success in this role.
