Embedded Software Engineer I/ II
Axon is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer I/II to join our dynamic team dedicated to developing cutting-edge public safety technologies. In this role, you will contribute to the design and implementation of embedded software solutions that power Axon's innovative products, enhancing the safety and effectiveness of law enforcement and public safety agencies.
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining firmware for Axon's devices, ensuring high performance and reliability. Your day-to-day tasks will include writing and testing code, debugging and optimizing system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware components.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with 1-3 years of experience in embedded software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as C or C++, experience with real-time operating systems, and a solid understanding of hardware-software integration are essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment are also important.
