The Embedded Technical Account Manager II will serve as the primary liaison between Axon and the MTA Police Department, fostering a strategic partnership to enhance public safety operations. This role requires a deep understanding of Axon's suite of products and the ability to effectively integrate them into the department's workflows. The position is based in New York, NY, with an expectation to be on-site several days a week.

Key responsibilities include achieving mastery of all Axon technologies, leading business and technical presentations to senior stakeholders, and independently managing project tasks. The role also involves providing tier-2 technical support, offering guidance on redaction processes, and developing technical documentation to facilitate product understanding. Additionally, the manager will communicate customer feedback to internal teams to drive product development and maintain strong relationships with other vendors to coordinate product installations and upgrades.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with at least three years of experience working with major city or enterprise-level customers. A proven track record in managing customer relationships and technical projects is essential. The role requires an understanding of SaaS, cloud solutions, virtualization, and storage, along with knowledge of networking methodologies and internet technologies. Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, are crucial. Experience supporting law enforcement or governmental agencies is preferred, and candidates must be able to pass any required agency background checks.
