Enterprise Architect Director
The Enterprise Architect Director at Celonis is a senior leadership role responsible for growing and leading a team of Enterprise Architects. This position involves acting as an executive sponsor, presenting to customer C-level executives, and translating strategic goals into actionable technical plans. The role is pivotal in supporting the sales organization to achieve revenue goals by removing technical blockers and fostering partnerships across various departments.
Key responsibilities include hiring, mentoring, and managing a team of Enterprise Architects who define the overall architecture, data, and cloud strategy for major client accounts. The director will engage in executive-level discussions during pre-sales and post-sales phases, present strategic visions, and design architectures that drive enterprise modernization using emergent technologies like Agentic AI. Additionally, the role involves serving as a bridge between product and engineering teams within Celonis and client teams to ensure the delivery of premier technical services.
The ideal candidate should have over 20 years of relevant experience, including managing Enterprise Architects or technical teams at top consulting firms or software vendors. A strong background in data architecture, system integrations, data operations, and proficiency in data-related languages such as SQL and Python is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of presenting to C-level executives, are required. A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, along with fluency in English and an additional language such as Spanish, French, German, or Italian.
